On Wednesday, April 27th, Shelter held a volunteer appreciation event for all the people who help us. Over 30 people, many who are long-time volunteers at our Thrift Store, participated in the light meal and presentations held at Pilot Pete’s restaurant in Schaumburg. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with friends, both old and new.
