What could be better than beer and running…in March?
Shelter, Inc., is proud to be a part of the Shamrock Beer Run on Saturday, March 18th in Arlington Heights. The run starts at 11 am with a 5K run/walk complete with 5 beer stops, one at each kilometer serving up 3 ounces of local craft beer and a pint at the finish! Five craft breweries sponsoring the race will be present to provide samples for you to taste. That’s 31 ounces of beer in total, so you are sure not to run out of thirst!
All participants also receive a souvenir pint-glass & long-sleeve t-shirt with their registration. At the end of the run, participants will receive a commemorative finishers medal and pint of beer from the brewery of their choice. Additional beer tickets may be purchased at the finish area after the event. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Shelter, Inc.
