On June 15th, Shelter hosted our annual Michael Portelli Memorial Golf Outing at the Makray Memorial Golf Club in Barrington, IL. This was our 13th year of offering a world-class golfing experience.
More than 60 golfers attended the event and all enjoyed the weather out on the course (at least the first few hours) and a dinner afterward. The event was hosted by Emmy award-winning radio broadcaster and television/sports personality Chet Coppock, and our celebrity guest was Emery Moorehead, a 12 year NFL veteran and starting Tight End for the 1985 Super Bowl Champion Chicago Bears.
